MES’s Countermeasures against Environmental Inspection Side-Affect

China is launching a new round of central environmental inspections covering eight provincial-level areas, as the country finishes nationwide investigations into local environmental protection efforts, according to an official statement. A total of eight inspection teams will start month-long on-site investigations into local government work, including Jilin, Zhejiang and Shandong provinces, covering the whole mainland China. Factories are force to be shut down temporarily or permanently if they fail to pass the inspection or improper measurements taken in the facility. When the production is halted, especially when it comes to a government action, it starts to worry everybody, especially the customers.

However, MES’s customers are free from concerns or anxiety toward this. Our customers’s production has been going on as schedule and all delivery is right on time, without a single delay. How can MES achieve this while everyone else is struggling?

• Sourcing: At the very first step of supplier selection, MES’s sourcing team does not look for cost-competitive suppliers only. There’re numerous cheap suppliers around China and many will go right to them, for a cheapest price. MES has been looking for cost-competitive suppliers as well, but we pay more attention to all aspects, including the ISO9001, ISO14001 and TS16949. We believe a modern manufacture is a must, rather than a cheap but chaotic workshop.
• Auditing: MES has an auditor for every existing and new supplier. The auditor will audit new suppliers thoroughly before MES will take it into consideration for quoting. For existing suppliers, MES will carry out an annual audit to ensure everything is on track.
• Engineering: MES has on-site engineers at every suppliers and long before the inspection teams are in place, our engineers have been helping suppliers with potential environmental risks. All waste processing equipments were properly installed and workers have been trained.
• Logistics: Logistics team has been coordinating with all suppliers and making precautionary plans to keep production uninterrupted, even if certain or few suppliers are halted by inspection team for any cause. In case an emergency happens, MES will move the tools to another supplier to keep production running smoothly.

We are proud to say that MES has not cause any delay to our customers, not even in this government raid. We uphold government environmental action and believe everyone deserve a clean and healthy space to live.
