Protect the Environment, MES is in Action

Litter is a big threat to public health and wild life. Many virus and bacteria grow fast in the trash and bring people nearby sick. Many wide animals will eat the trash. This will not only damage their health, but it could be also vital to their lives.

MES cares for our society and believe a clean neighborhood means better life for all people and animals. With that belief in mind, on May 09, MES had organized an interesting activity to contribute our power. All members were gathered in a place called Dong Qian Lake, which was a famous scenic spot in Ningbo City with many people. With the growing crowds enjoying fresh air and sunshine, litter became a big problem. Instead of boring trash-pick, we decided to make a difference. All members were divided into four groups and each was given two hours to collect trash in the area, the team with the heaviest trash weight will be the winner.

Teams spread out for the trash hunting. Trash on the road, in the bush, in the water, on the grass and behind seats were spotted and “hunted”. When the time was over, each member had a heavy bag that nobody would expect. It is sad to see so much trash was not in the bin, but we are proud that MES has done something to protect the environment!
