Congratulations to MES, Inc. for Winning Smart 50 Specialty Award for Innovation
“Fourth time is the charm”, said Hiten Shah, as he entered the office this morning. MES has been the honoree for last three years but in this fourth year, it won the Innovation award.
The Smart 50 Awards, presented by Hylant, recognize the top executives of the smartest 50 companies in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead savvy organizations. MES – the global manufacturing resources and supply chain management company – under the leadership of Hiten, was honored for its innovation.
Firm won the award for developing a very critical phone application, called MESH-Quality®. Application has been a game changer for MES, it’s quality team and it’s customers. MESH application allows engineers to report on the quality and process right from the factory floor. Engineers and managers globally get alerts on quality issues found directly while the products are manufactured. It brings the “factory next door” concept to the forefront. Goal was to get early insight on how manufacturing and process was going on at supplier’s factories.

Since 2014, the Smart 50 Awards recognize the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations. All 50 winners will be honored at a special celebration, and three organizations will receive specialty awards for their achievements in three category areas – innovation, impact, and sustainability.
